Commercial electricity
Whether you're on a single rate, day/night or evening & weekend, we can provide up
to date pricing from all major suppliers
As gas supplies around the world are reduced, the option to change traditionally
gas powered facilities, such as hot water and heating, to electricity is becoming
increasingly common. In addition, and despite efforts to use energy more efficiently,
we use electrically powered technology more than ever before as an increasing volume
of transactions become electronically based.
Regardless of your usage, using UCR Consultants to compare potential costs using
various suppliers can make significant savings on your energy bills. We specialise
in providing brokerage and consultancy services to Small to Medium Enterprise (SME)
businesses. This is most commonly distinguished among suppliers by either how much
you spend each year on your energy or what's known as the 'profile class' of your
meter.
The profile class of your meter determines the size of the supply and the associated
power usage. Most domestic meters will be profile class 01 or 02, unless the property
has been converted from a commercial premises. Most SME meters fall into 03 to 08
classes, with small users typically 03 or 04 meters, the relative commercial version
of an 01 or 02 meter. Larger users that don't necessarily require a corporate or
'half-hourly' supply will often have a profile class of 05 to 08. These supplies
are commonly referred to as maximum demand, as a daily fee is often charged in order
to ensure continuous supply up to an agreed maximum.
As well as providing a brokerage service, we can help to explain your energy supply,
giving you a more rounded understanding of what you're paying for. CLICK HERE to
